Once you are satisfied that you want to go ahead, a documentation fee is payable upfront for our lawyer to draw up the necessary paperwork. You are advised to seek independent advice before you sign this! You can then pay the upfront amount, and move in to your new home! Repayments: As this is sold as a “Rent To Buy”,also known as a “lease with an option to buy”, your upfront payment is considered the Option Fee. It is deducted from the price of the house, just like a deposit. You will pay normal weekly rent to lease the home, but also pay a weekly option fee to maintain the sole and legal right to purchase the house.
